The Izod Corporation (officially stylized as IZOD) is an American mid-range clothing company that produces dressy-casual clothing, sportswear for men, as well as footwear and accessories. It is part of PVH, forming part of its Heritage Brands division along with Van Heusen, Arrow, Warner's, Olga, True & Co., and Geoffrey Beene. It is perhaps best known for its short-sleeved piqué polo shirt, formerly produced by Lacoste and featuring the Lacoste crocodile on the left breast, now replaced with an embroidered (or screen-printed on some golfwear) crest. One variation is the "IZ" patch instead of the crest. Other Izod classics include the Harrington jacket G-9 model, also v-neck and cardigan sweaters. Today, the Izod brand competes most directly with the similarly-priced Chaps brand owned by Ralph Lauren Corporation, while competing more indirectly on the lower end with U.S. Polo Assn. and on the higher end with Nautica.

An angry buyer of Amazon US shared his opinion on the site after he purchased Izod products in June 2020:

"Shanks when washed. Out of the package, the shirt looked great, felt great, and fit great. After 1 wash, the shirt shrank 2 sizes, it no longer fits comfortably or looks good in any way. I expected more from IZOD as the price was much higher than the Hanes shirts I regularly buy. I don't recommend this product at all."

"The company is constantly pressuring its stores to cut payroll to the barest minimum, so scheduling is very unreliable -- even at one of its highest-volume stores. Expectations of associates are not at all in line with the near-mimimum wage pay offered, and seem to change frequently at the whim of anyone at Bridgewater with access to e-mail. Someone in the PVH HQ organization was actually upset with a member of management at this store for being unable to obtain confidential sales information from a local competitor store -- information for which the company's own employees would surely be fired for providing to outsiders. Very unprofessional."

"The company has policies in place that promotes treating their workers like criminals. I understand that they have had employees steal from them in the past, but that is true with customers as well, and they don't check their bags before and after they leave. I find this both degrading and insulting. The hiring process could improve as well. It took a long time before the manager of the store could even hire me because she needed approval from higher ups that are not directly involved with the store. At least, that is my understanding from what she told me."

"Izod provides a typical retail establishment. Focusing on the Outlets, traffic is high and sometimes unmanageable. Stores are allotted hours to schedule based on sales achieved for that week - and they are always neck and neck. Having a small staff and not being able to schedule everyone for their desired (or hired) weekly hours creates a tense working experience. The Human Resources department in Bridgewater, NJ are helpful when it comes to basic questions, but confused when facing challenges. Daily direction from the company used to be back and forth, but now that PVH (parent company) has acquired Warnaco, each division seems to have a clear focus on their individual directions in upholding their brands."

"If I could rate IZOD,And its parent company, PVH, 0 stars, I would. I experienced so much negativity while working there that I still loathe the company and its product four years after leaving. Obviously, I cannot give as many examples as I would like, but I will offer you these: 1) while working as an acting store manager (with no extra compensation), I called the district manager with a question. After two words in and mid-sentence, she cuts me off and asks why I am calling her. She then proceeds to tell me that, unless I was an actual store manager, to NEVER call her again (this is the same district manager that, when visiting your store, would walk right past EVERY associate without saying "hi"--they were beneath her). 2) I experienced discrimination from a nearby store manager (she was deceivingly rude, lazy, and weak in her skills and abilities). Corporate office refused to acknowledge my complaint and they ALSO told me to not call anymore. After quitting, the store manager that was guilty of DISCRIMINATION got a promotion when she should have at least been demoted, if not fired. Needless to say, it seems that this company promotes discrimination. I could go on for days on the HORRIBLE people there, but these are my two examples most important to me. My favorite memory? Walking out after the discrimination from the other manager, with my head and pride held high--Quitting IZODEverything, especially the discrimination"

"A typical day at IZOD would be coming in and having your bag checked and then putting your personal items away into your locker. After this you will clock in and put on a pair of keys for the dressing rooms and head out onto the floor to recover inventory or if it is Monday open up a new box and start processing it. Your day consists of these things as well as helping out customers, ringing them up and keeping the store clean. At night when it is time to close the cash registers are closed down by a floor supervisor as the sales associates clean mirrors, vacuum, empty the trashes, email sales and conversion for the day to the store manager as well as counting the deposit and making sure the store is fully recovered from the day. When theses tasks are all completed the lights are turned off, the alarm is set, the door is locked and our bags are checked by each other.A great Stafflittle pay"

"When I first started, the Izod team and management provided a quality training in order to provide excellent customer service. Eventually management changed and secret shoppers began to grade our team on their experience with us. We had promoted foundations by accepting donations. We are a retail store which sells golf apparel. This market and management would not enable me to advance within the company."

"good for people who are narcissistic, cold hearted, cut throat, back stabbing, fake, and skilled at a** kissing. don't think if you work hard you will be rewarded. you will be used and abused. you hit the jackpot if you are the CEO's son's fiancée/wife or other family of the people in power. many C level executives have family members with nice titles that "work" at PVH. my experience with one and the company in general was a real nightmare."

"I found that IZOD was at times a very fun place to work; however, much of the joy of working there could be quickly diminished. A typical day consisted of assisting customers, unloading freight, cleaning, and whatever else needed to done. In my time there, I learned how to really multitask and manage my time efficiently. Management for the most part was either a hit or miss. I found the manager and assistant manager to be quite helpful in their regard. Most of my problems came from my floor supervisors who seemed to tell me to do something, but not do it themselves, or show me how. For the most part, my only co-workers were management staff. The hardest part of the job had to be learning to adjust to different types of people, both good and bad. The easiest, was the actual work itself (Folding of the clothes, cleaning, etc.)Nice management, easy to learn, gained valuable experienceno chance to advance, unhelpful management at times, poor scheduling"

"Izod was the first job where I was required to be of legal age to work for them. They sold golf clothing and accessories for sporting events. I worked as a sales associate where I helped customers find what they were looking for, kept the displays organized and neat, worked the cash register, helped in the change room, and cleaned/ closed the store at the end of my shift. I was hired when the Outlet Collection opened in Niagara-on-the-Lake and was originally signed for a 3 month contract for which could be extended to a full time position, for which I declined when I went back to school. I didn't like the environment I worked in since most people would avoid retailers at all cost when going shopping but I made the most and spoke to everyone I could, I made lots of sales when I worked and had great customer reviews. Overall it was a decent first job experience.Good staff membersExpected too much of us in the beginning"

"Was told to call in to order from a rep for 15% and when I did the woman was acting all bothered and gave me a hard time honoring what I was already told, she was rude, impatient, and had no interest in providing service. I have blocked this shop from my purchasing power. No thanks, they can be aholes to their other customers not me."

"Extremely disappointed with our recent purchase with grunt style! I would not recommend them to anyone! Their women’s sizing is EXTREMELY inconsistent. To all women ordering: All the hoodies are sent in MENS sizes not women’s. Oh and if you are a woman who ordered a”woman’s hoodie” and they sent you a “men’s hoodie,” lucky you gets to pay the shipping to send it back. I get to pay shipping on an item I never ordered in the first place. That makes perfect sense. Oh and another thing, When ordering a women’s mystery shirt... they will send men’s.... which is again men’s sizing....so be prepared for that. Cherry on top?.... They will do NOTHING to make it right. Asked for a manager and as luck would have it I was talking to the said manager and he basically reiterated that with their policy there was nothing he could do for me. The whole phone call he would talk over me and could care less what I had to say. Super stand up company right there...."

"Wish I would have read some of these reviews first as well. Seems Grunt style likes to be lazy with their shipping priorities. Understandably I missed the fine print in the order about overnight shipping. I am leaving on vacation on Monday morning so thought I would get the masks by at least Saturday. I ordered on Thursday just after 2 pm so that's on me. The delivery date I got said item will be delivered by Friday by 9 pm all good seemed like I made it , I thought I was good to go. I see a lot of customers having a similar issue with their "overnight" shipping and not all even fall under my circumstances where they made the first mistake. Obviously Grunt style does not rush these orders my order did not get scanned into UPS until late Friday night so obviously someone just took my order that I paid an extra 25$ for in to UPS with all of the other orders from that day or the day before. So even if I ordered next day air on any other day it still would have no way of shown up next day. Just a warning do not order from this company if you are in a rush. They are not well equipped it seems to offer these faster shipping methods. Also after reading multiple similar complaints like mine, they do not seem to care much after you have purchased about keeping your business. Items are lost or never arrive and they just seem to blow you off. Grunt Style, customers come first protect them by removing the overnight shipping option after Thursday morning. Btw I did call UPS and asked if expedited shipping under those same circumstances, which is like 2-3 days would have showed up at a similar timeframe and they said as long as the package was scanned Friday it would most likely have made it by Monday or Tuesday. So your overnight shipping option should really be pulled out, because the delay seems to be on Grunt Style not UPS. They need a day to pull the order and get it to UPS minimum. From the time I purchased to the time UPS scanned it in was 30 hrs..............."

"I have ordered from you all several times and have reached out to you several of times! I do love your shirts BUT the problem I have I'm tall and chunky so the womens 2xl does not fit how I want it to so I ordered a mens 2xl to see if they were a diference and they were. The mens shirt fit exactly how I wanted it to and I didnt look like I was busting out of a can of biscuits! I contacted customer service on this several times because I wanted to join the club but I didnt want to be wearing all mens saying on the shirts, I wanted the womens saying but with how the mens shirt fit so I guess thats impossible to do!! I hate how the womens shirts fit me!!!! I believe there should be more options! I know I cant be the only one out there saying this!"
